New £1m charity partnership

McColl's is forming a brand new charity partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital that will aim to raise £1million over the next three years.

Seriously ill children from across the UK travel to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for specialist treatment for rare and complex conditions. The money we raise will help fund the refurbishment of parent accommodation, just across the road from GOSH, which will be named ‘McColl’s House’, and this will help bring families closer together when a child is receiving treatment.

We’re incredibly proud to be launching this new national partnership with GOSH Charity. Our colleagues care greatly about supporting their local communities and we know many families across the UK rely on the excellent, specialist care provided by GOSH. We are excited to get behind this fantastic cause knowing the efforts of our colleagues, customers and suppliers, will provide vital support for families at a very difficult time.

The last thing that parents should have to worry about when they arrive at GOSH is where they’ll stay once their child is admitted. Thanks to our new partnership with McColl’s, we’ll be able to transform the provision of much needed parent accommodation, and together, we can ensure that parents are never more than a few minutes from their child’s bedside, day or night.  That’s a powerful motivation for our partnership, and we know this service will have a huge impact on the experience of families at GOSH. We’re very grateful to McColl’s for their support.
